What this site collects
This is a static website. It does not create an account for you, and it does not store session notes. Information typically reaches us in these ways:
- Booking. The “Book” buttons send you to Headway, which collects the details needed to schedule, verify insurance, and start care. Headway’s privacy practices apply to that process.
- Email and phone. If you write or call, we receive whatever you choose to share so we can respond.
- Technical data. Like most sites, our host may log basic request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use information
We use contact and booking information to reply to you, schedule sessions, verify coverage when you ask us to, and operate the practice. We do not sell your information, and we do not use this website to run advertising profiles about you.
Cookies and third parties
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. The About page can embed a welcome video from YouTube after you press play. Those companies may set cookies or collect device data according to their own policies.
Booking runs on Headway. Payment and insurance verification for sessions are processed there, not on this website.
HIPAA and clinical information
Do not send detailed health information through unsecured email if you can avoid it. This website is not a HIPAA-secure portal. Protected health information related to treatment is maintained in the systems used for care (including Headway), not in the public pages of this site.
Children
Parents or guardians may use this site to learn about services and to book care for a teen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website for marketing. Intake, consent, and confidentiality for minors are handled at the start of treatment.
How long we keep it
Emails and call records are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet professional and legal record-keeping duties. Clinical records follow the retention rules of the states where we are licensed and the platforms that store them.
Your choices
You can email or call to ask what contact information we have from this website, to correct it, or to ask us to stop using an email address for practice correspondence. Requests about clinical records are handled through the intake and records process, not this public site.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the site, but no website is perfectly secure. Please do not include highly sensitive details in a first email.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means the new policy applies to that use.
